Josh Dunlap

Josh Dunlap is a versatile Northern Nevada trumpet player whose career bridges orchestral work, jazz performance, and the region’s vibrant entertainment scene. A former University of Nevada, Reno trumpet performance student, he is an integral member of the Reno Jazz Orchestra’s trumpet section and performs with the Reno Philharmonic, the Reno Chamber Orchestra, and the Nevada Opera. Dunlap’s résumé includes appearances with celebrity acts such as The Temptations and the Bob Newhart Show, along with numerous productions across Reno’s casino showrooms. When his schedule allows, he shares his expertise as a private instructor at the Lake Tahoe Music Camp, continuing his commitment to music education.
