Jazz Night at Lo-Bar Social

Right on California Avenue, Lo‑Bar Social hosts a weekly Jazz Night, offering a lively cocktail‑lounge setting where guests can settle in for rich, intimate live performances.

Community Jam

Every Thursday night, musicians meet at Lo-Bar Social to play together. Graham Marshall hosts the jam, and it runs from 8:30pm until midnight.

Anybody is welcome to sit in. Bring your instrument, listen for a while, and sign up when you are ready. The house provides a rhythm section, and the tunes are standards most players will know.

It costs nothing to play and nothing to listen.

Before you come

Lo-Bar Social is strictly 21+. Valid identification is required at all times, including during live music. This applies to players and the audience.

If you are under 21 and want to play, write to us at info@renojazz.org. We run other things for younger musicians, and we would rather hear from you than have you turned away at the door.
