Tony Cataldo

Tony Cataldo is a Reno‑based trumpet player known for his energetic, free‑spirited musical personality and his long-standing contributions to Northern Nevada’s brass community. Inspired at age ten by a formative music teacher, he quickly excelled on trumpet and later expanded into electric and bass guitar. Cataldo performs with the Reno Jazz Orchestra and Reno Modern Brass and is widely recognized for his generosity as a musician—having given “thousands of free music clinics” by simply picking up an instrument and sharing his craft with audiences and students alike.
