Tristan Selzler
Tristan is a multi instrumentalist, composer, bandleader and educator from San Jose, CA, and based in Reno, NV. He earned a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno. Tristan teaches piano at Western Nevada College, and is Music Director at Unity Center of Reno, as well as Organist for the Minor League Baseball team, The Reno Aces. He lives in Reno, NV with his wife Rachel Selzler, and their cat Phineas.
Tristan has performed in settings ranging from small concert venues to jazz festival main stages in Nevada, and many parts of the U.S. West Coast, particularly the San Francisco Bay, and Monterey Bay areas. He has also performed internationally, notably in Tokyo, and Kyoto, Japan.

Reno Jazz Syndicate [RJS]
Founded in 2006, the Reno Jazz Syndicate is a musical community of performers, composers and bandleaders based out of the University of Nevada, Reno. The RJS promotes traditional and progressive jazz and blues, as well as other creative and improvisational musics in and around Reno/Tahoe. Members of the Reno Jazz Syndicate comprise many groups of varying musical styles, in both showcase and casual enviroments, and perform regularly in venues of all sizes. With an emphasis on original material, creative improvisation techniques, and artistic development, members of the the RJS are known as some of the most passionate and most professional musicians in Northern Nevada.
