Karl Busch

Karl Busch is a dynamic saxophonist and educator whose artistry bridges performance, composition, and jazz education in Northern Nevada. As a member of the Reno Jazz Orchestra, Busch contributes his expressive alto saxophone voice to the ensemble’s rich big‑band sound. He has collaborated with numerous regional and international artists, including Dutch pianist Van Kemenade, and has appeared in RJO productions such as Tribute to George Benson and Earth, Wind & Fire recording sessions. Busch’s musical approach blends technical mastery with a deep respect for jazz tradition, making him a vital part of Reno’s evolving jazz landscape.
